Large-scale events are back in full swing here in Boise. For many of us, attending an event has become a distant memory. However, I assure you, society is returning to social gatherings. I’ve been hired to photograph four different events for the month of March alone.
Employee Event
A few weeks ago I had the privilege of photographing Clearwater Analytics company-wide gathering. It was a laid-back affair, designed for pure fun. The meeting spot was Big Als in Meridian. This adult-only event was jam-packed fun for all the employees. Bowling, pool, skeet ball, virtual reality games, and dancing in the DJ room were just a few of the activities employees could soak in. In addition, there was plenty of food and drink on hand.

Not everyone was interested in all the activities. Many employees and their guests enjoyed spending time with each other in the common areas. It was a much-needed night out on the town.

But for those with a more adventurous spirit, there was no shortage of games to play.

The Dj was spinning records all night long. The dance floor was a diversion some. It helped friends to gather and enjoy music. The dance floor also was one popular way to take a break from all the games.
Raffle prizes were given out at the end of the evening. Computers, airline credits, TVs, and local vacation trips were just a few of the prizes being distributed.

All in all, everyone had a great time. After months of social distancing, employees found this event to be a welcome diversion.

If you have an event that you need to be photographed… don’t hesitate to contact me. I’d love to help you document your event and capture the joy.
