Business headshots are something everyone needs to have when looking for a new job. This is especially important when you’ve just moved to a new town and you’re not only looking to work with a new employer, but you’re attending networking events.
This was the case for Caprice. She just recently moved to Boise and she didn’t know many people. Plus, to make things worse, the COVID pandemic had been keeping everyone at home. These portraits were taken right after Idaho came out of the “stay in shelter” order.
Caprice was ready to get out and start meeting new people. With that came here need for updated business headshots.
You might ask… Why Didn’t She Just Use A Selfie?
In today’s digital era if you own a business or are looking for a job… you need to put your best foot forward. Sure… having a great bio page on LinkedIn is helpful… but don’t forget potential customers and employers can now use the power of Google to find out more about you. One of the first things they start looking for is photos of you.
With this said, why would you use a selfie on LinkedIn or any other networking website? These type of platforms are the place you need to look as professional as possible. A photo from the backyard BBQ will not do!
You need to be using a headshot which shows you care enough about your self and your line of work to use a professional portrait. It is ideal to be using a headshot that was taken within the last 3 – 5 years.
If you have lost weight, changed your hair color or maybe no longer sport those glasses from 1997… it’s time to upload a new portrait!
Welcome to Boise Caprice! We’re glad to have you!
