Earlier this year the Women’s Business Center contacted me with an idea. They wanted to create a number of portraits of a few of their current clients. The goal was to not only help promote the WBC’s services…..but to show help is available to any kind of woman owned business. With this idea in mind, it was decided all the women involved should bring a prop to the photo shoot. Something to help explain visually, what it is their business specializes in.
If you are searching for quality gifts handmade in the USA + you love to support women friendly companies….rosieMade is for you. This company has a gift for everyone on your list. Nancy started Boise Speakwell to help those who have a crippling fear of speaking in front of others. Far to often this fear holds people back from their true potential. If you or someone you know experiences this fear, give Nancy a call. She’s in the business of helping others build confidence and teaching the skills to make a person shine while under the spotlight.
Shari with the Women’s Business Center insisted that she capture an image of me as well. I too am a member of the Women’s Business Center. I was completely taken off guard……you know didn’t have my hair done, skin looking pretty…..all of those things girls like to do, but here it is. A photo of me while working on a hot summer day.

The American Heart Association here in Boise has been busy this past fall promoting a heart healthy lifestyle. They have hosted a number of educational events for interested persons. One of those being an informational breakfast for their “Circle of Red” members.
What is a Circle of Red Member? Circle of Red members are a group of individuals, committed to educating others in their community about the prevention of heart disease in a fun, heart-healthy way. These members have the influence and resources to significantly impact the community by providing a personal commitment to help find a cure for the number one killer of women.
On this particular morning, Circle of Red members and their friends gathered to learn more about how the American Heart Association has directly impacted the medical community.

I’m a just “a bit” behind on blogging sessions. In this case, I photographed this series of photos back in mid April for the May 2014 edition of HERLIFE Magazine.
Eagle Day Spa is located in Eagle Idaho at 619 E State Street. Owner Desiree Dodson prides herself in the fact her spa “exudes warmth and a personal touch”. Spa services are available for both men and women. Services include massages, waxing, manicures, facials lash extensions and much more.

In addition to the quality services they provide…..the staff really takes the time to get to know their clientele, becoming friends along the way. In fact, they get to know their clients so well it’s not unheard of for staff to be invited to a clients wedding or a family BBQ.
So….if you are ever in the need of an hour or even a full day away from the rat race, give Eagle Day Spa a call. You’ll be glad you did.
