The 7th annual Community Baby Shower was held this past July throughout the Treasure Valley. I was sent to one of the donation locations by HERLIFE Magazine
to catch Michelle Edmonds
, the founder of the fundraiser, in the act of collecting some of those donations.
A little more about the Community Baby Shower: Donations help support four local education and incentive based non profits, each of which educate women about making healthy and safe choices during pregnancy as well as in parenting. Women attend classes to earn points. With those earned points, women participating in the program can redeem items collected during the Community Baby Shower.
I’ve photographed the Hebert family at least once a year since “Mom” and “Dad” tied the knot back in 2009. As the family has grown I’ve been there to document the changes along the way.
Thanks again Herbert Family for asking me to capture images of your growing family.

Greg and I have known each other for about 5 years now. The first 2 or 3 of those years Greg was one of the last remaining bachelors amongst his group of friends. Then one day, while strolling through the BSU campus….. he crossed paths again with Jen.
I remember the day quite vividly. He was SO EXCITED about their chance encounter. As he told me about Jen, his eyes lit up and I could tell he was truly smitten. I figured this girl must be really special. You see, he and Jen had know each other for years but the timing was never right for these two. When Greg realized they were both unattached, he jumped at the opportunity to ask her out. Two days later they went on their first date and from that day forward he and Jen have been a couple.
Congratulation Jen & Greg!
The happy couple with all their guests.
