Darcy, Mike and I met a few weeks ago to capture their engagement photos. Their wedding is just around the corner and the couple was in need of updated professional photos to use in different items for their May 11th wedding.
Considering we live in Idaho and the weather can be unpredictable, we were lucky and scheduled the session on a warm sunny day. We spent a little time walking around the Boise Train Depot, laughing and capturing images along the way.
Congratulations you two. I’m looking forward to your May wedding!
We’ll be at the Mirada Quinceañera & Bridal Expo this Sunday March 24th. Stop into the Nampa Civic Center between 12 and 6 PM to visit with us and many other vendors in the industry. We’ll have prints and albums on display and we’ll be available to answer any of your questions.
Once again I had the honor of photographing the annual American Heart Association, Heart Ball held in Boise. This is just one of many events the local chapter of the American Heart Association puts on to help raise money for medical research and heart healthy education for the public.
Just a few of the people who helped make this year’s Heart Ball a success.
Let the auction begin!

In addition to it being “bridal show season” here at Leap Photography. I’ve also been busy working on designing wedding albums for clients who were married in the 2012 wedding season. It’s always enjoyable for me to see which wedding portraits are my client’s favorites and incorporate those images into their album design. Each wedding book I create is as unique as the couple themselves. I try to incorporate the wedding colors in addition to as many detail shots of the wedding decor as possible. The books also include a number of the “formal portraits” in combination with the candid / photo journalistic wedding photos.
Here is a recent example of an album I recently got back from the book binder. It’s a perfect example of everything I mentioned above.
