Fall is one of my favorite times of year to capture outdoor senior pictures for my clients. The rich fall colors and lush textures of nature provide beautiful backdrops.
The Photo Session
Rylee loves fall too and decided she wanted to wait until late October to have her senior pictures captured. She had a number of different outfits for her photoshoot planned out. Her vision included highlighting a few of her favorite outfits. One of which is a custom-made, Victorian-style dress… corset and all.
We decided to start in the photo studio with photos of her in the dress and then to move to an outdoor location for the second half of the photo session. Rylee had a very specific style of photo that she wanted to achieve from the studio portraits. She gained her inspiration from a photo she found online which included a weathered, or aged look to the photos in addition to a little bit of texture. When it came to the outdoor portion of the photoshoot, her only request was to include some fall color.
