The 2017 wedding season is in full swing.. and I just realized I still hadn’t featured Casey & Kayla’s gorgeous New Years Eve wedding here on the Leap Photography blog. I know, I know…..it’s June! How could I let the wedding photos of this gorgeous couple sit for so long without sharing with you? All I can say is… I’ve been busy and time as slipped away from me! I truly apologize, but I promise you… these photos are worth your wait.
The Wedding
Kayla and Casey chose to have their ceremony at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Boise and then move the celebration to the historic Boise Train Depot. As some of you who live in Boise may remember, it was COLD on New Years Eve. We were still in the midst of “snowpocalypse” and everyone was hoping for an early spring.
Although the temperatures were frigid, Casey and Kayla made the best of it and braved the cold to get some outside shots at both venues. If you ask me… in the end it was totally worth the numb fingers and toes. The cool winter light created a great backdrop for this winter wedding and complimented all of the indoor wedding pictures which have poinsettias and Christmas tree decorations as a backdrop. I also loved their choice of wedding colors. Navy Blue, Gold and Brown. Perfect for a New Year’s Eve bash!
Congratulations Kayla & Casey! I wish you many years of wedded bliss!
