Linda & David | Boise Engagement Photographer

I met Linda for the first time just a few short weeks ago. At the time of our initial conversation, Linda and David had only been engaged for three days. Her excitement about being engaged and her upcoming nuptials were absolutely intoxicating.

Our First Meeting

The following day Linda and I met to discuss wedding and engagement photography and to walk through her property. After chatting for a bit, I was stunned at the amount of progress she had already made in her wedding planning.  Keep in mind; this was only day four of Linda and David’s engagement. It was not quite a week into being engaged and she already had a wedding date, venue, the caterer, cake, bridesmaid’s attire and her gown selected.  I found this beyond impressive! Especially considering it took me about one month just to find a dress for my own wedding! All the other details took me numerous more months to decide on.  I couldn’t help but wonder how she can make decisions so quickly.  By the end of our meeting, it became more and more obvious. When Linda sets her mind on something, she doesn’t mess around.

The Engagement Photos

During our initial meeting, Linda mentioned they would like to have engagement photos.  We scheduled the engagement session for the following week. For this photo session we decided to utilize Linda’s property, located just outside of Eagle, Idaho. She has a beautifully landscaped Japanese style garden in her backyard.  It’s just perfect for portraits.  Plus, it’s an area the couple and their dogs spend a lot of time in. Her home and gorgeous gardens will also be the venue for their upcoming wedding.  Therefore it seemed like a fitting location to capture the first professional photos of the happy couple.

Thanks, Linda and Dave for a fun-filled, yet relaxing morning in the garden!  I truly look forward to sharing in the joy of your wedding day.
