Miss Bryn came to me for studio portraits back in July. She was accompanied by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard…who both just happen to have both been my Junior High & High School teachers way…WAY BACK WHEN I lived in Montana. I hadn’t seen them since I was a freshman or maybe sophomore in high school and I’m not going to throw out a number of how long ago that really was, but let’s just say it was a long time ago. Bryn’s Mother (Mandy), Uncle (Scott) and Aunt (Kristin) were also school mates of mine. So… you can say this portrait session was a perfect example of just how small the world really is.
Bryn herself was the one who had initiated the process for getting her headshot updated. She’s very active in local theater and knew she needed to get an updated professional portrait for upcoming auditions. She’d grown a little older since her last photo and it was time to capture an up to date image. Her mother contacted me explaining the situation and I mentioned I’d be more than happy to help out a young student interested in the arts.
This session was a blast for me. Not only did I get to catch up with two people I’ve known for years…. I also got to know Bryn. Her ambitions are certainly inspiring! I know she’ll accomplish great things in her lifetime.
Here’s a snap shot Bryn took for me while she was in the studio.
It’s of myself and Mr. and Mrs. Willard. Such a great time catching up with the two of them!
Bryn, you look incredible! I know how accomplished and talented you are and I am sure excited to see what the future brings for you. I am so proud and impressed that you are following your dreams! Break a leg out there my lovely niece! I love you!
