This wedding took place a few months before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Like everyone else, I had a lot going on at the time. This post got lost in the shuffle. Now that we’re all seeing the light at the end of the tunnel… I decided it was time to share.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Wedding<\/span><\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Val had been dreaming of a church wedding since she was a child and when Kyle proposed, she knew right away that St. John’s Cathedral <\/a>would be the location for their wedding ceremony. This Catholic church is located in Boise’s historic North End neighborhood. As you can see from the photos, it’s a building filled with stained glass windows, marble and gold gilding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day of their wedding was very stormy and wet. A thunder and lighting storm rolled through downtown Boise right before the ceremony. Power outages rolled through downtown, but the cathedral remained a warm safe haven for everyone in attendance. In fact, the dark cloudly skies made this afternoon wedding feel as if we were spending an evening in the church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
