I recently had the pleasure of photographing the nuptials of Dianna & Kodjo. Both are immigrants from Africa but met here in Boise. I guess it is true when some say; you never know where in the world you will find love. These two certainly traveled a long way to find each other and they couldn’t be more perfect for each other.
The big day began with Dianna’s arrival at the First Baptist Church.
The two getting ready to drive over to the Bishop’s House for their reception.
It was such a gorgeous day outside!
We were all so happy to see blue sky’s and be blessed with warm spring weather. We could not have asked for a better day.
The bridal party was led into the reception by a group of dancers.I’m told this is a Rwandan tradition and this dance in particular is traditionally performed at the beginning of wedding receptions.
