My day with Erica and Joe started out a bit rough to say the least. As Joe was getting ready for pictures, he nicked himself shaving; what guy hasn’t done that? Well, for whatever reason, he just kept bleeding and bleeding; and being the trooper he is, they decided they were going to have the photos done bleeding ear or not.
Upon arrival to their session, Joe jumped out of his truck with a big grin on his face. He had to laugh at himself as he proceeded to tell me we had a problem. One look at Joe and I knew we were going to be waiting awhile. I suggested we go downtown and have a coffee to see if we could get the bleeding to stop.
After a coffee and few good laughs, Joe was good to go. We headed back up to the Boise Train Depot, and just as we pulled into the parking lot, mother nature decided to dump snow on us. A little snow would have been OK, but this was the big fluffy wet stuff. We tried a few shots but we were all getting pretty wet. We decided to call it quits since the weather was not favorable and rescheduled for another day.
A few hours later, the skies cleared and the sun came out. I wasn’t holding my breath at first, but after a 1/2 hour of sunshine I gave the couple a call and we decided to give it another try. Luck was finally in our favor. We had over an hour of sunshine and clear skies. It was a little chilly but they at least had each other to keep warm.
